Schlage submits its door hardware for testing under the BHMA residential grading system, which rates Security, Durability and Finish from C (good) to A (best). Our Essentials by Schlage knobs, levers, and deadbolts are backed by Schlage's limited lifetime mechanical warranty and limited 5-year finish warranty.
